1.  “Heretic”  (R)  Trailer

Hugh Grant plays a seemingly nice old man who opens his door to two young Christian missionaries, then invites them inside and proceeds to trap and terrorize them. 

The girls are played by Sophie Thatcher from “Yellowjackets” and Chloe East from “Kevin (Probably) Saves the World”.  It was written and directed by the people who wrote the script for “A Quiet Place” with John Krasinski, if that helps sell it to you.

2.  “Elevation”  (R)  Trailer

Anthony Mackie and Morena Baccarin star in a post-apocalyptic monster movie where the planet’s been overrun by creatures that have wiped out most of humanity, but for some reason don’t go anywhere higher than 8,000 feet.

The survivors taking refuge in the Rocky Mountains.  Unfortunately, Mackie’s son has respiratory problems and the only way to keep his oxygen machine running is to head back down the mountain to try to find replacement parts.

Baccarin is a scientist determined to figure out how to kill the creatures; while he just wants to save his son’s life.
