Sebastian Stan plays a young, impressionable Donald Trump in the 1970s and ’80s, whose relationship with a cutthroat attorney named Roy Cohn shapes him into the presidential candidate we know today. Jeremy Strong plays Cohn.
2. “Piece by Piece” (PG) Trailer
An animated journey through the life of Pharrell Williams, as told through the lens of LEGO animation. Pharrell wrote five original songs for the movie, which includes LEGO versions of him, Kendrick Lamar, Gwen Stefani, Justin Timberlake, Snoop Dogg, Timbaland, Jay-Z, Daft Punk, Busta Rhymes, Pusha T, and N.O.R.E.
3. “Saturday Night” expands nationwide. (R)
Gabriel LaBelle from Showtime’s “American Gigolo” series stars as Lorne Michaels in the true story about what happened behind the scenes in the 90 minutes leading up to the first broadcast of “Saturday Night Live” in October of 1975.
It’s got a huge cast, but some of the faces you might recognize are Dylan O’Brien as Dan Aykroyd, Matthew Rhys as George Carlin, J.K. Simmons as old school comedian Milton Berle, and Finn Wolfhard from “Stranger Things” as a random NBC page.

—“Bad Genius”, starring Callina Liang as a scholarship student who starts a cheating operation at an elite private school to fund her college dreams. Jabari Banks from “Bel Air” is one of her fellow students, and the MCU’s Benedict Wong plays her dad. (Trailer)
—“We Live in Time”, a romantic drama starring Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh, which takes a nonlinear look at their relationship over the course of a decade. Profanity Warning: There’s an uncensored S-word at 0:42 in the trailer.
—“The Silent Hour” starring Joel Kinnaman as a cop with hearing loss who is asked to interpret for a deaf witness (Sandra Mae Frank) to a brutal gang murder . . . and then has to defend her when the gang returns to kill her. Mark Strong plays his partner, and Mekhi Phifer is the leader of the gang bangers. (Trailer)
—“Terrifier 3”, the sequel to “Terrifier 2” follows up on Victoria giving birth to Art the Clown’s head and the two of them eventually going after survivor Sienna Shaw and her family on Christmas Eve. Lauren LaVera returns as Sienna. (Trailer)
—“Average Joe” starring Eric Close (from “Without a Trace” and “Nashville”) as a high school football coach who goes to the Supreme Court to fight for his right to kneel in prayer before after each game. Amy Acker plays his wife. (Trailer)
