1.  “Blue Beetle“  (PG-13)  Trailer

This is based on the DC Comics character Blue Beetle.  An alien scarab chooses college graduate Jaime Reyes to be its symbiotic host and gives him a suit of armor and unpredictable powers.

Xolo Mariduena is the Blue Beetle.  You know him as Miguel from “Cobra Kai”.  George Lopez plays his uncle, Becky G is the voice of the scarab, and Susan Sarandon plays a businesswoman set on acquiring the scarab and its powers.

2.  “Strays“  (R) 

Will Ferrell voices a Border Terrier named Reggie, who is abandoned in the street by his owner Will Forte.  So he teams up with a group of strays to get revenge.

The group includes Jamie Foxx the Boston Terrier, Isla Fisher the Australian Shepherd, and Randall Park the Great Dane.

3.  “Back on the Strip“  (R) 

A young man named Merlin moves to Las Vegas to follow his dream of being a magician.  But instead, he becomes the new member of The Chocolate Chips . . . a legendary Black male stripper group who are staging a reunion.

The Chocolate Chips includes Wesley Snipes, J.B. Smoove, Faizon Love, and Bill Bellamy.

Spence Moore the Second from the CW’s “All American” plays Merlin, and Tiffany Haddish is his mom.
