1.  “Joker: Folie à Deux”  (R)  Trailer

Joaquin Phoenix returns as Arthur Fleck for the sequel to 2019’s “Joker” and this one is a musical.  While he’s locked up in Arkham Asylum awaiting trial for the murders from the first movie, he falls for another patient during a music therapy session.

Brendan Gleeson from the “Harry Potter” movies is in it as an abusive Arkham guard, Catherine Keener is Arthur’s lawyer, and Lady Gaga is his psychotic love interest Harleen “Lee” Quinzel.

2.  “White Bird”  (PG-13)  Trailer

In this follow-up to “Wonder”, Helen Mirren plays the grandmother of class bully Julian and shares the story of how a classmate’s kindness helped her survive the Holocaust.  Gillian Anderson is the mom who hides her from the Nazis.

3.  “Monster Summer”  (PG-13)  Trailer

David Henrie from “Wizards of Waverly Place” directs this nostalgic adventure movie about a kid who teams up with a retired cop, played by Mel Gibson, to solve the mystery of why some of his classmates are acting like traumatized zombies.
