New in Theaters: “Fly Me to the Moon” and “Longlegs”

1.  “Fly Me to the Moon”  (PG-13)  Trailer

Channing Tatum is the launch director for the Apollo 11 moon landing, and Scarlett Johansson is a marketing specialist the government hires to fix NASA’s public image, even to the point of filming a FAKE moon landing as a backup plan.

2.  “Longlegs”  (R)  Trailer

Maika Monroe plays a new FBI agent assigned to track down an elusive serial killer known as Longlegs, played by Nicolas Cage.  The rest of the cast includes Kiernan Shipka as his only known survivor, and Blair Underwood as a fellow FBI agent.

“Descendants: The Rise of Red” is in select theaters and streaming on Disney Plus.  The fourth “Descendants” movie stars Kylie Cantrall as the daughter of the Queen of Hearts (Rita Ora), who travels back in time to stop her mom from murdering Cinderella. (Trailer)

“Sorry / Not Sorry”, the documentary about Louis CK’s public downfall and his surprising return to the stage.  It includes interviews with the women who called him out for sexual misconduct and the journalists who broke the story.  (Trailer)
