Tom Cruisereturns as Ethan Hunt in the seventh installment in the “Mission: Impossible” series.  He and his IMF team must track down a new weapon that threatens all of humanity before it falls into the wrong hands.

It stars Hayley Atwell as Ethan’s new ally (she’s Peggy Carter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe) and Esai Morales from “NCIS: Los Angeles” as a powerful terrorist.

2.  “Theater Camp“  (PG-13)  (Limited)

When the founder of a youth theater camp in upstate New York falls into a coma, her “crypto-bro” son must work with the camp’s eccentric staff to not only keep it running through the summer, but also save it from financial ruin.

Ben Platt from “Dear Evan Hansen” and Molly Gordon from “The Bear” are part of the theater staff.  The founder is Amy Sedaris, and YouTuber Jimmy Tatro is her son.  Will Ferrell is a producer.
